About Mairi
Mu dheidhinn Mairi
’S e neach-ealain Gàidhlig a th’ann am Màiri. Bha ì air a breith ann an Dùn Èideann agus air a togail a’ bruidhinn dà-chànanach anns
a’ Ghàidhlig cuide ri Beurla. Tha ì a-nis a’ fuireach ann an Bail’ Àrd Bhuirgh an taobh siar Leòdhais.
Tha Màiri an dòchas gun seal am pròiseact mar a chuidicheas ealain cànan na Gàidhlig anns a’ choimhearsneachd. Tha seo a thaobh a bhi na chleachdadh mar rud a sheallas dha daoine ciamar a tha Gàidhlig a’ toirt orra a bhi a’ faireachdainn, ma ’s e cudeigin às a’ bhaile no luchd-tadhail le ùidh ann an cultar agus cànan na Gàidhlig a th’annta.

Mairi has completed a master’s course in ‘Learning and Teaching Gaelic Arts’ at the Royal Conservatoire Scotland and Ealain Aite forms part of her final year project.
